“Cosy and comfortable”

Fantastic. We had a suite of three spacious rooms – lounge/kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom at the front but there was no road noise, utterly peaceful. It was spotlessly clean and had excellent facilities. All the staff from check-in, breakfast and cleaning were super helpful and friendly. The breakfast offered was varied and it was great to make your own waffles. One of the really interesting features was the hot pool in the basement which looked like a cave and was partly open to the sky. It was glorious to bathe while waiting for our washing to finish. We felt truly pampered.

“Family visit to welcoming hotel”

Check in was quick and efficient. There were ten of us in our group aged from 2 to 59 years. We had requested rooms next to each other and this was granted. Rooms have everything you would require, not the largest, but adequate after a long day sightseeing. Nice crisp sheets, clean and warm. The hot bath beneath the hotel is lovely and relaxing. We ate in Chillis restaurant within the hotel which was handy with five children.

“Great Stay”

I recently stayed at this hotel with my two young sons. Our room was split up on two levels. Small living room and kitchenette on the main level and on the lower floor was the sleeping area with bathroom. It was the perfect layout for us. I highly recommend this room type for families. Room was clean and comfortable. During the check in; the front desk crew were helpful and efficient. Thank you.

“This location has it all and a hot tub grotto”

Seriously let’s start with the reason you are likely coming, it’s next door to the bus stop for the mountains! Friendly staff that gives you the ski report helps you with rentals and in town suggestions. Free breakfast opens at 7 so you can load up before the first bus next to a wood burning fireplace. Room was 2 dbl beds had a safe and was overall adequate. Housekeeping came everyday and they gave us a humidifier to use for the week. At the end of every day we hit the hot tub which is super cool and major draw. Underground with a vent to the sky circa Hugh Hefner style. Has a gym, laundry, free water cooler for fill ups, other amenities. There is even a Chili’s branded restaurant on-site which we avoided being from the states I wanted to sample local fare but it’s there if you need it. Price was right and I would go again.

“Absolutely beautiful”

We stayed here as a family and couldnt be more impressed! It is beautiful and so are the staff. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to recommend these suites to anyone. There is plenty of space in the rooms and we enjoyed the 2 balconoes. You are close enough to the action of town but far enough that there is no noise. The hot springs in the hotel are so perfect and a real treat after skiing all day. Its only a short walk to the bus stop to go to ski slopes. Great place to stay.

“Cozy and clean”

Lobby is warm and inviting; rooms are clean and just the right size. There’s a public hot tub and sauna – clean. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable when it came to restaurants and skiing. Not too far from “downtown” Banff; only a public bus ride away (or a 8-10 minute walk), and the hotel gives you free passes to use the public bus for 72 hours. You can buy ski tickets at the lobby. Great place, would recommend and would definitely stay here again!

“Clean rooms with excellent service”

We stayed at the fox for 5 nights with two teenage sons. We booked the two bedroom suite as this had two separate bedrooms and bathrooms and a small kitchen area. When we arrived we had a king in one bedroom and a queen bed in the other bedroom. We asked at the reception if they could make up the sofa bed that was in one of the bedrooms so that the boys had separate beds. This was done immediately. Nothing was to much trouble in this hotel and the rooms were spotless with the cleaners coming in everyday. Breakfast was ample and heated parking a bonus. Would stay here again.

“Great Experience in Banff”

The hotel is situated a bit further than the busy shopping and eating areas, but easily walkable and connected by the local transit service. The hotel provides a card that allows you to access the transit for free. But you would likely want to walk given how beautiful the scenery is. The hotel itself has excellent service, with friendly and responsive staff. The internet was fast and free. The view from my hotel suite was that of a mountain covered with pine and fir trees, absolutely pristine. I enjoyed walking to the busy shopping areas in the clear mountain air with great views. All transport services to Lake Louise, Banff National Park and Calgary airport have Fox as one of their stops so its really easy to travel. Overall, a great place to stay in.

“Loved the Fox!”

We stayed here for 4 nights. Its a great place. Comfortable, quiet and Chili’s is good as well. The hot tub can’t be beat. Breakfast was also great! Its included with your stay. I’ve seen other reviews complaining about the breakfast. I don’t see what there is to complain about. Three waffle makers, fruit, oatmeal, cereal, toast, coffee, juices and a variety of muffins and such. Staff was friendly. Overall great, cozy place. We would come back to stay here in a heart beat!

“Fox nails it year in and year out”

We stay at Fox suites for 1 night every year on our way back to Calgary. It offers great value for money. Rooms are not massive but functional and have everything you need. They win a 5 star on housekeeping and upkeep. This place has high traffic but rooms and especially the bathrooms are impeccably maintained. Great amenities. Only thing they can improve on is the breakfast offering which is basic.
